Why Coreve
The Problem
She Didn’t Lack Sneakers. She Lacked Sneakers Designed From Her Perspective.
Walk into almost any sneaker store and the choice is the same: a men’s sneaker in a smaller size, or a unisex pair built around a generic, gender-neutral last. Neither one started with her — her proportions, her stride, her everyday life.
That gap sat there for years, treated as normal simply because no one had built the alternative.
The Realisation
Why Should She Keep Adapting?
Comfort shoes meant giving up style. Style meant giving up comfort. Height meant heels, and heels meant giving up the sneaker altogether. Women were choosing between things that should never have been opposites.
Coreve started with one question: what if a sneaker was designed around a woman from the very first sketch, instead of adjusted afterward?
The Response
Coreve. A Women-First Footwear Philosophy.
Not a smaller men’s sneaker. Not a unisex pair in a softer colourway. A sneaker built from the ground up around how women actually move, stand and spend their day — designed with women’s biomechanics in mind, engineered around fit, support and everyday comfort.
Coreve is built in India, with founders who set out to design footwear the industry had skipped for too long.
The Future
Changing How Women Think About Everyday Sneakers.
Coreve isn’t asking women to buy another sneaker. Coreve is asking why sneakers were ever designed as if women should simply adapt — and building the answer, one pair at a time.
